Kana Winery 2010 Katie Mae, Columbia Valley is 100% Riesling with fruit sourced from Lawrence Vineyards (Royal Slope AVA) and Sugarloaf Vineyard (Rattlesnake Hills AVA). The fruit was harvested by hand, hand-sorted at crush and vinified in stainless steel. Fermentation was taken to semi-dryness for a balanced 3% residual sugar. This vintage of Katie Mae shows bright peach and creamy pear along with notes of fresh ginger and lingering minerals to its long finish. It will pair well with many foods, particularly spicy or Asian cuisine.
