Kana Winery 2007 Dark Star, Columbia Valley, "90 points" Wine Spectator! This full bodied red is a blend of 90% Syrah, 5% Grenache and 5% Tempranillo. Most of the fruit was sourced from Ciel du Cheval Vineyard in the Red Mountain viniculture area and other notable vineyards including Naches Heights, Elephant Mountain, and Coyote Canyon. -To quote The Wine Enthusiast, "This is almost entirely Syrah, done in a high acid, citrusy style. Flavors are sharply etched and tight- pomegranate, raspberry, baking chocolate, and espresso. Straightforward and well- balanced �" And to quote The Wine Spectator, "90 points.
